Dr. Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. At the Ohio State College of Medicine, she continued her education and received her doctor of medicine degree. Afterwards, she completed her residency in pediatrics at one of the nation’s highest-ranking children’s hospitals, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Following that, she headed to Northwestern University for her fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology.
After completing her studies in 1980, Dr. Ann returned to Cincinnati to practice medicine. She joined her father, Dr. Joseph Ghory, the first pediatric allergy specialist in the region, and Dr. Ausdenmoore. Today, this medical office continues as the Cincinnati Allergy & Asthma Center.
For seven years, Dr. Ann served on the board of the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine. Additionally, she is past president of the Ohio Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, as well as the Cincinnati Allergy and Asthma Society.
Dedicated to helping those entering the field, Dr. Ann regularly mentors medical students and residents who rotate through the office as part of their allergy elective. Throughout the years, she has been listed as one of the Top Doctors by Cincinnati Magazine.
Her professional interests include: nasal allergy, sinus problems related to allergy, asthma, chronic cough, eczema, food allergy, and eosinophilic esophagitis.
Dr. Ann lives in Indian Hill with her husband. She has three grown children. Her daughter is a attorney in Columbus, her older son, David Tapke, M.D. is an allergy specialist with CAAC, and her youngest son is a teacher in Denver.
